Since 1967, Vuyo's Funeral Services has served families across Gauteng with compassion, dignity and pride — evolving from a local funeral home into a trusted financial services provider.
Heritage
Initially Founded in 1967
Vuyo's Funeral Services is a Gauteng-based funeral service and policy provider built on a rich heritage of caring. Our roots run deep in the communities we serve.
Our organisation had the solemn honour of conducting the funeral of Hector Pieterson, the first youth activist killed in the Soweto Uprising of 1976. Since then, the business has evolved into much more than a funeral service.
Re-established in 2007 by Vuyo and Nkateko Mabindisa, we have grown to provide an essential range of affordable funeral and related financial services, catering for the broader needs of our communities.
